I use the defibrillator since i am 7 (Level, of course) and i want to share my experience with Newcomers and No-Knowers, it is also useful if you aren´t a Medic!

Well,
first of all only the Medic Class with it´s MGs can get those,
they can get a Defibrillator when they are Level 7 and when they have spend 5 points into the Equipment Expertise Training Tree
Logicaly lvl 7 because then they got the 5 points for the Tree and additional the point to train the defibrillator.

The Defibrillator needs to be equiped
Various Updates ago the Ammo count was raised to -1 which means that you can use the Defib infinite and without reloading

You "heal" 50 HP on lvl 1
and 80 HP on lvl 2
and 100 HP on lvl 3

For will get 50 Score for any revived Soldier!
An Icon in shape of the defibrilator indicades a death teammate which just died

There is also the possibility for killing an enemy at point-blank range, instantly!

Some says, that you need to revive the "name tag", which may explain the inability to revive ppl which got killed by explosions

So be aware! Don´t get into trouble while reviving a Tank-Dead and get killed by the same Tank!

See you on Battlefield, Medic Wink

don't forget that the dead body's hitbox might not be in the same place as the model, so aim where the nametag is

I just put 1 pt on Defibrillator and I see that the next upgrade (Defib+2) adds 10 HP to a revived teammate.

But what is the HP level that a revived teammate gets with Debif+1?

And how much HP is added with the last upgrade (Defib+3)?

teammates are revived with 50 hp afaik, but defib 2 and 3 are useless cause you've most likely dropping a medic box prior to the revive

Yah, that's why I asked cuz I doubt it's useful to add more than 1pt. Wink

Respawn time needs to be a bit longer. Unless they get killed right next to you, it's unlikely you'll get to them in time.

Sometimes, if they glitch into a wall, they won't revive. In BF2, if this happened, you could throw a MedPack on them to "knock them loose" and then revive but that either doesn't work here or there's not enough time.

don't waste your time on anymore than the first defib point.... so you revive the guy with 10hp, why? because you can use the points on other perks and just give the guy an med box AND you will get more points for healing him from 10-90, so 90 points! instead of maybe 50 points if you have defib 3/3

P4F is like Porn:- You get a little bit for free but if you want the good stuff you gotta pay!!

Lol, Cypticsword the hi-jacker of threads Tongue

Btw, I've been able to revive all those you say you can't revive, except an enemy of course Tongue Maybe you need to test it out and update it?

Also, I've noticed that you don't use it on bodies, but rather under the name tag to revive.

I can kinda see the point of getting higher defib, as if you're in battle it can be the difference between a half dead assault protecting you or a slightly less then half dead assault protecting you.

I still like keeping it low, as I can spend points on other things and get those few extra points for healing them.

More tips:
-Don't revive someone if it is at risk to you. Even at all; don't do it. It is not your duty; you are doing them a favor.
-Don't revive someone who died in the middle of an existing crossfire; they'll just die again and give the opposing team more points!
