1. Probably how you yourself like that most, usually the default settings are not bad settings.

2. Inverted mouse means, that if you move the mouse upwards the nose of the jet or helicopter also moves upwards.
Not inverted means moving the mouse upwards is the nose downwards ingame. If i fly with mouse i really have to use the inverted mode.

This is the main reason you see a lot of players going into chopper and within 5 seconds they end upside down, because it's confusing.

I use a joystick, if i pull it towards me my nose has to go up or else im screwed. Isn't that how it works in real planes?

Did you assing one trainingpoint to Jet and Chopper in the trainingtab in the menu? If not then you can't enter jets/choppers ingame.

You get these points by reaching a higher rank ingame, everytime you become a rank higher you get a trainingpoint which you can use to check Tier skills.

only problem with this is you got it totally backwards, if its not inverted up is up and down is down, inverted down is up and up is down, i only use inverted for flying things.

You are totally right, i don't use inverted as that is making me crash for sure. Default setting is inverted and that is what makes the most end upside down. English is not my native language, i sometimes think the right things and write it down wrong.
