Looks like they're trying the old divide and conquer root to get the money rolling again

Clearly 01/12 and 20/12 have lost them customers and money, otherwise I can't see why they would be taking this drastic action

They're trying to get unhappy elite/veteran customers to cut their losses and buy their stats again with permanent attachments

Also instead of dealing with the fact that they underpowered all class specific weapons so much to sell attachments that even the basic pistol outclasses them, they are making shotguns/pistols level unlockable so in theory there will less of these god weapons about - which is just a shambolic attempt to solve the balancing problem between class weapons and all the weapons not effected by the 01/12 nerf

Sadly for them with so many unhappy elite/veteran weapon owners left or simply not paying to play anymore, if they nerfed the pistol/shooties in line with 01/12 to bring some real balance to the game they would probably have to close this game down with the fall out from customers who paid 3 times the real price of those weapons (which goes to show how bad class weapons are since the weapons not nerfed are 3+ times more expensive )

Frankly it looks like the Devs have painted themselves into a corner, they will not admit they were wrong and buff class weapons and the cannot nerf non-class weapons for fear of the backlash as they are on very thin ice as it is now (evidently a new map and sparkly lights on the old ones didn't bail you out of the s**t, who would have known)

They may keep saying that there is nothing worng with the game and that 01/12 was a good game balance and that 20/12 was right to steal from customers and loose their trust - but judging by the frantic scrambling going on here in the last few weeks I'm guessing the very secret numbers we are not allowed to know about are saying something very diiferent

The fair and right thing to do is offer elite/veteran owners their choice of attachments free, you could do it so they can only be used on a specific weapon instead of all weapons in that class like you did with legacy holosights so those customers (that's right we are customers and deserve some customer service ) don't get more than they paid for and there would be no need for +3

To coin an old army term (seems appropo as this is supposed to be Battlefield) this situation is FUBR

Im still sort of disappointed in the weapon i got now.
+3 is nothing compared to how my weapons were pre1dec.
Perm attachments and revised prices is a step forward.
But whats 1 step forward when they did 20 step backwards?
And im not even sure if i trust this company again, what we buy here can be scammed tomorrow.

I saw a player today with a +3 M16, it had the elite brown stock and foregrip - I didn't think the old skins were available since the Devs took them off us 01/12

Anyone else got a brown M16?

Could this mean elite/veteran owners might get their nice skins back they purchased originally??

Since December 1st, all Veteran and Elite owners got their skins

No, they made all veteran/elite class specific weapons plain black 01/12 - if you were on pte you would have seen that they intend to sell attachments so you have to buy your particular skin back again

Even though you already paid for it once, they expect you to pay for it again - EAsy interpretation of 'permanent'

I was really just wondering if this is a bug on the M16+3 or an all item hack as I've seen a number of players less than level 4 with +3 weapons, which doesn't seem right since you would expect low level players to be new and they could not have purchased legacy vet/elite weapons - maybe players are stealing from EAsy, makes a change

Will make a mockery of weapons unlocks though if you can just hack your Elite USAS
