Not responding on instalation "end user license agreement" - CVT-Op - 11-02-2012 07:30 PM

When the installation starts and the "end user license agreement" window pops up its stops responding.

I'm using Firefox that is "Run as administrater".
Any help?

maybe disable antivirus and programs like "peerblock"

Going to try this next. Didn't work on Google Chrome either.

Okay, could you please close/disable RocketDock (it's known to sometimes cause problems in combination with the game), as well as ViGlance.

Additionally, you should decide which anti-virus you want to use. Currently you have AVG and Microsoft Security Essentials installed. It's never a good idea to have 2 AVs running at the same time since each can get into the other's way Wink

Should the installer still crash, make sure to have these two runtimes installed and updated:

Download and install both, since both are needed for the game to work properly. And YES, you need BOTH since 2008 is NO update for 2005. Each of the packages provides different libraries

Make sure to change the "download language" to the one your Windows is configured to. Also, please rename the files. Some guy/gal from Microsoft thought it is funny to give two completely different files the same name

Also, please run WindowsUpdate after installing these two, to make sure that you have the latest updates
