LoL! What a nub. Seriously, install the game like everyone else dude. If you have a shittastic internet it's not like you'll be able to play anyway.

Or he could just install it like everyone else did. Maybe you could try and delete C:\WINDOWS I bet that might work.

RE: Add game to registry :) - killroyjr - 30-03-2011 12:29 AM

RE: Add game to registry :) - Jihad - 30-03-2011 12:32 AM

In all honesty if it takes you more than 20 minutes to download the game your internet isn't good enough to play anyway. Only took me 6 minutes to download it.

Don't count on it. If they do fix the lag they'll probably charge you battlefunds to get rid of it.

It took me over 10 hours to download the game, and if i get into a small enough server i can play the game fine...

instal in standard folder

Code:
C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield Play4Free

You can try to create the registry values yourself. Depending your Windows version, copy&paste the following code into notepad, and save it as e.g. bfp4f.reg
For 32bit Windows:
Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield Play4Free]
"Installation Dir"="C:\\Program Files\\EA Games\\Battlefield Play4Free"
"Language"="EN"

For 64bit Windows:
Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield Play4Free]
"Installation Dir"="C:\\Program Files\\EA Games\\Battlefield Play4Free"
"Language"="EN"

After you saved it as a .reg file, you can import it to your registry by double-clicking on it Wink But I can't guarantee that it works.

@Jihad:
Would you mind trolling somewhere else, outside these forums?
