I honestly do not understand why people are crying over this. As many have mentioned, our job as close beta TESTERS is to test the game and report bugs of any sort, varying from minor glitches to technical failures.

Sounds familiar? I quoted that for the Battlefield Play4Free Beta Testing Agreement where it mentions several times that things such as character data maybe erased before proceeding onto the next stage. Most of us, if not all agreed to these terms before joining close beta.
I too have sometimes wished that such a thing should not occur but then again I realize that others who join the game as a new players will be brought to a disadvantage. Also, like many have mentioned, you get the upper hand in open beta since you have experience playing the game. So I ask of you guys, let is just forgot about losing what we have earned in closed beta and look forward to open beta; Except for our skills of course

i can't wait for the new updaes, I dont mind lusing my solers, it will be fun restarting over
i wouldn't be surprised there are some uber exploits when they do their update and wipe, unless they actually let us test the remaining guns/abilities/maps first

I believe when I read the BETA rules over it said that this would happen and it could happen again at the end of BETA. Thats right folks I read the rules!
