PLEASE EA PLEASE make it feburary 14 to celebrate my birthday

So all who are QQ'ng about the wipe have never beta tested b4? It's understandable though, all that work put in and then it gets wiped, you know the devs put alot of work in as well and now they have to wipe too so to speak, that's what testing is for: Evolution, keep what is useful reject what is useless.(lol im not saying we are useless).

a wipe is so much eazier than specifically fixing things, just think of a CB as rough draft #1 and usually before doing a final draft i do 3 rough drafts: 1 is notes, 2 is putting it together, 3 is the final for look over, 4 is the polished draft.[NO I am NOT a Dev]

Look at it this way: while in game or on forum you have bragging rights, when socialising in any chats you can say remember when......while the newcomers will be like whoa really? And when they QQ about something you can be like if you only knew, if you were only here for CB.

I don't understand why only half of the news is being discussed (the wipe), while the other part is just as important.

They will be introducing a store where we can spend real money... and they way it sounds the game will still be in closed beta at that time. So the way it looks they are going to try to make money on an (officially) unfinished game - just like in Battlefield Heroes. I just really hope the similarity with BFH ends there and that this game doesn't take the route BFH seems to have taken over the last couple of months, which is that the developers seem more focused on introducing new shop items than on actual game content/bugs.

PS: To clarify, I'm not saying that the introduction of the BF store is bad. EA is entitled to earn money after all.

PPS: I can already see the whine threads of people who bought some "uber" weapon for $10 only to have it nerfed while the game was still in closed beta .

Why doing this? Why don't you just reset the stats? I don't get it...
In all other Betas i've played, they did delete the characters also, but they SAVED YOUR NAMES for some time for you.

We all knew that this is gonna happen, so why do some people whine about losing the level progress or the weps?
But why the heck deleting the names? It's just totally stupid...

Imagine someone else would take the name of someone well-known in the forum, f.e.g like drebin (for the active Off Topic - users)...

Remember, this is closed beta. We are here to test new things, in order to make it perfect when they are releasing open beta.
A character wipe will always be here.
What will all those new players think when they see +20 players, awesome weapons, cool clothes, etc.

I don't mind the stats wipe and everything wipe...the only thing that I don't like is taking away our names. That kind of sucks!
