Yes got the same question myself. When is tier 3 going to be tested and at what date can we expect the wipe-out?

If they stick with a "February" date for the wipe and the open beta, I really doubt the Tier 3 will be available during the close beta, but it will probably be released around the end of the OBT.

What more than one wipe? If that happens all dev. will very shortly after that meat their maker (and I don't mean on their parents) ...

Elitist attitude? not elitist, just pointing people out that reading is an option also, these kinds of people make the threads asking for stuff that has already been asked, these kind of people don't use the search function of either google or the forum it self. That is what pisses me off, and that is why i point out to people that they need to read, im not saying 'read every last page of the thread' but atleast scroll trough the thread so see if someone already asked the same question instead of reading the first post and then proceed to click to the last page and post a comment wich, in this case almost litterly, has been asked a thousand times before their comment. I mean if they had read the first 3 pages, they would have already had an awnser to their question....

Thats why i call them out.

Febuary 17th...right now...when is this going to happen, its past the first half of febuary (14 was half) so its not the first part of febuary anymore...in any kind of way... could a community manager or moderator or someone who has some form of contact with the dev's let us in on a piece of information regarding the wipe? Like a possible date? or a postponement(is that even a word and did is spell it correctly??) of the wipe?

It is a word and you did spell it correctly .

The wipe has indeed been postponed, at least for a short amount of time. We're still working on hammering out some more fixes for wiping the soldiers. We want to make things are as they should be before moving forward, rather than rushing ahead with half complete plans which would make for an entirely worse experience. We'll pump out some more info about the wipe in the not terribly distant future .

And again, that is completely random. That could be in one year if you really would, since 'terribly distant future' could mean 35 years from now.

I had hoped it would have been AFTER the tier3 training came along but unless they spring it on us without warning...

And things like "new player will have hard time if you have high level" is bovine excrement . If that is correct, they should wipe it every month!
And it would be nice to have more from CBeta than CB tag in forum.
Maybe something stupid like:

• nickel plated handgun (same in damage as default and called BetaBang, BB Gun for friends),
• T-shirt with "I survived CBeta", "Here from the start", "B4 Beta"
  

it is nothing special but it gives nice touch for all our beta problems.
Or maybe some free weapons?

Is still the idea that Credits are gone too? I mean they are linked to account and not to soldiers?

1) You are given a beta key as a priveledge.

2) You play the game for hours and it brings lots of enjoyment when others don't have that priveledge.

3) At the end of the 'test game', the 'test game' is reset to make way for the real game.

Where is the problem? You get hours/days of first hand experience on how to play the maps which alone is a MASSIVE advantage that the noobs won't get; infact it's still an unfair advantage to have Beta tested the game at all.

Weapons? If you're not capable of flying through the first 20 levels in a couple of days with normal weapons then you should be playing the Sims and doing the shopping for your nan instead
