I cant wait for this, But I still dont think this is ready to go to open beta yet, unless they have done a heap for the nexct update.

It is now technicaly the 2nd of february australia wide. Still no wipe. Irritating. When you make a date, you stick to it..

Do u mean that after that we will have to pay REAL money to buy weapons and this will become Play2pay instead of Play4free , coz if thats what will happen i will keep playing this game till my account gets wiped!

Ea please keep the permanent weapons for credits I BEG OF YOU!

If there are going to be Battlefund weapons I hope they are "shiny" or "extra couple of rounds in the clip" or something... I want me permanent credit weapons!

yeah im pretty sure nearly 80% of the replies on this thread are asking not to have this and that wiped and wether they can keep their weapons or not, or just asking for Uber beta weapons..
Its not going to happen, there was a promo for an M9 earlier if you bought 2800 battlefunds during december, that is ALL there is, that is ALL there will be for Beta tester "bonuses" (But i think non Beta testers could also get it), EA isnt going to bend over backwards and give you your hearts desires.
The wipe is a necessity, its going to happen, wether you like it or not.

I for one think it will be fun starting from scratch... plus I made some mistakes along the way that I get to redo. I think we should all get cookies for beta testing... personal baked by the EA staff!

I agree with Sad Panda. It's sometimes fun to start over. I've started GTA IV over 6 times. xD
Never get tired of that.

It's only ruined to those who don't have jobs/money; to those who do it made it ever more awesome

i think if they dont let us keep one character they are selfish... i am quitting if they make us BUY battlefunds. So much for battlefield play4FREE (KEYWORD FREE)

I don't think its selfish to make us give up our characters though having to pick a new name I'm not so happy about... I might just go postal if some one takes my name and if you do... I will find were you live! I honestly feel like I have a better chance of pawning a pay-to-play noob in this game then in BFH.

There is a difference between paying money to get EXTRAS on a FREE game than just paying to be able to play.
