Well should have figured there would be whiners in this topic; just like when they play.
It is amazing to watch the in-game chat and see all the juveniles in pissing matches...
Grow up people it is only a game, and in beta at that. Just accept what is going to happen, or remove yourself so the rest of us can do what we came here to do!
On a side note:
I have had several high level characters that I have reset just to enjoy the process of leveling them up again.
Good because the day 1 players and newer players like me have a huge disadvantage over the older players. The ones who play the most get all the good items and cash yet you start with crap and play with people with the best.
Also you can see the people who are getting to max level right away with a hack or something so you can get rid of some of the hackers more easily or find out who to monitor. Just an idea. Flag someone if they gain 20 lvls [no idea what is feasible as I have not played enough] in a day or something for example and then you can make sure they are legit or not.
Yeah, just like on COD you prestige and start off all over something like this could be a good thing too now you think of it.

The first post said you pick which character is first for your account and you keep that characters name, and that is the name you will be know by on the site. My question is, can I keep that name but change the type of character (from sniper to engineer). I like the name, but hate using snipers in this game (please no flame war, I don't care if you like sniping).
Please don't speculate, answer if you KNOW. Also, quote me if you want to know too.

I wish EA would get this wipe over with, bring on some new stuff, like a jet, oh I want a jet so bad. I would just be happy with tier2 unlocked and a new stage. Sure you have to go back and kill more people to level back up. Man that sounds like a lot of physical labor that I guess some of you can't handle. fn whiners. I am lvl 12 and i have disventages, the engineer weapon is a x.x.x.x a m16 is 10x better...
That is what you get with large corporations like Electronic Arts. All they care about is money and profit and go out of their way to make sure you hate the game but are addicted to it enough to make it decent by purchasing battlefunds. This is what doomed the Battlefield Heroes series.
By having overpowered weapons, it encourages people to hack to at least get upto the same advantage as Battlefund players.
I think we should have a huge petition on the front of the forum to let us beta testers have a weekly allowance of Battlefunds as long as this game exists as a thank you for working our heads off to provide assistance to EA of making this game possible and not buggy. AND- I think that as beta-testers, we should have more perks.
EA is using us as free labor instead of hiring hundreds of testers and buying tons of different computer systems.

if they didnt wipe the caracters no new maps, weapons, vehicles, or any of that jazz will be implemented into this awesome game. Just suck it up and see it as getting shot in the arm rather then the heart

cmon think for awille, have u played bf2 once? a name that u use will be used for all the characters, that means for ex; ghosthand engeneer,ghosthand sniper,ghosthand medic,ghosthand suport and so.

No Im not a puppet, I support EA in every decision they make. I'm sorry if your MLG pro leet character is going to get wiped because they want to make this game better. If you don't like it go play call of duty.

He or she, (I can't tell Sorry), is right, this is beta not the game. Beta is when you get the honor of testing stuff that no one else can, you know except a few 15,000 people or so. lol, but if you wipe, you get to restart any mistakes that you might have made.
Hey, EA, BATTLEFIELD PLAY4FREE!!! Can you please check the bug on refunding/repointing points. AND THE STORE?
And To make up the wipe you could give each class a special beta weapon, like a "Super Uber" weapon or something. It would certainly make evryonefell better. And i so in fact think they have ALL earned it.

OHHHH!, I love Black Ops. SOOOO FUN!!!! Especially Team deathmatchs. I hate my enfield rifle though... SO WEAK!!! i need a better gun, possibly like AK74u... Or galil, MAYBE....

Well, Charactor wipes are a part of being involved in a Beta. As for Battlefunds....Well...micro transactions help fund developing and maintaining the game.
Besides if its anything like BF:H There will be plenty of places to get some free BF...or item codes
