OMG, I see that the majority here never been in a closed beta test phase of a game, otherwise they wouldn't cry so much about some wipe !
Let me tell ya'll a secret... IT IS NORMAL ! All the beta tests I've been in did this !
Having said all the above I'm really concerned about the game but I've saw that most bugs have been reported so I guess there is a little sunshine after all.
I need more
That's cool. I would really like to think up new names for my soldiers, and I cannot wait to see this beta blossom into an awesome game, so I see it as losing a little to gain a lot.

the only Issue I can have with it is I loose my stats, but oh well, Its a -beta- if you went into the closed beta thinking it was going to be the char you keep forever, read what a beta is before you apply for a key, lol. Its cool enough they're letting you keep what you get after this wipe, most beta versions wipe all upon game release cause its unfair to the people coming fresh into release, to play against everyone whos been going at it for months. This is fine, these things happen, Im looking forward to seeing the new content

so, the wipe could actually be a whole system change, which indeed means everything will disappear (except the account access, which should be binded to your EA account/email)
in other words...welcome back to day-1, on a new platform and with a revamped game, and just a step closer to open beta...
why it is getting changed?, well, most stuff we can use/do now is JUST TEST stuff, including gaining rates for exp and credits, everything was already previously announced properly (like including a BF store with funds being used both on BFH and BFp4f), so I really dunno WHY some people are surprised....
I'm really happy to see this is getting into a newer step, be sure to keep some screenshots on your drives, will come in handy once the game goes out into the open and some months later people start to ask "how was the game on the first stages?"
