I've wanted this to be in since I started playing this game.
/Sign. The one 2142 has is perfect.
/sign with pleasure and thx for opening the topic..this is really necessary.
/sign also vote for mine at sig below

/sign. It really needs "thanks", "follow me" and other emotes - what if you just don't have much time to write it all? One button, 1 second or less and you're done! It's like "Thank you" and up, would take a total of 9 (and a Shift=10. Oh yeah, almost forgot - Enter! 11) keys, or with 40 wpm typing speed = about 4 seconds. For a typing freak (no offence, just someone who types really fast). Wow! I'd really like to appreciate medics and assaults while playing as recon/engineer. Same about "Negative" - what if I spotted an enemy and he's (I'm assuming there are only guys in the game, haven't seen any girls on the battlefield) dead right after that? It's useful to let your teammates know he's not a target anymore. "Go go go" is useful as well - again, recon, need cover. I'd "say" the phrase, and some people would go in front of me, I'd just be hunting from far away. So, it'll be more than useful.
Maybe some other emotes as well, like, "Attack this position/coordinate/location/spot/whatever", and so that anybody on the team could say while playing. Just as the player is dead, one won't be able to use the map to show the location to attack, just like won't be able to use all other emotes.
Spotted system is incomplete as well, what if I'm an assault and see a tank, hover over on it and "Enemy infantry spotted!" I don't see the ... infantry, I see a tank! So, it might be useful to let a closeby to the tank engineer to let know there is a tank coming to him, while a sniper might kill that infantry. Finally, is it on slow computers only, or it's EA's servers/other non-user's computer problems, that when I press "Spotted" on the tank while there is no nametag yet, the "spotted" won't react on it in any way - just quiet. Until the nametag is visible, doesn't matter of the distance. (Maybe recon only, there are some training points that need to be spent for spotting enemies or what? IDK.)
P.S. /Sign me as many times as you need, I'll be always for it.
