There is a smaller bridge further down the river, but it is just a small narrow footbridge, no vehicles can cross it. but also, the river is not that wide it is pretty easy to swim across, trust me you are not constricted to the 2 bridges to get across.
Trust me the design of the map is great as it is now, if you played Modern Combat you would love how great this map is. The only thing they maybe can change is giving the U.S. team helicopters (right now only the Middle Eastern Team has helicopters so they have a slight advantage).

I haven't played this map on any Battlefield game yet but it looks really good!
