It would be much better if we could rent Official EA Servers with Battlefunds. Both sides would profit . EA will get their Money directly and we are able to rent a server without having trouble with other serverhoster´s. Well 6500-8750 BF´s for 1 Month would be a fair price .
We rent a Server through the Game, get the RCON Accsess data and people can join the unranked/ranked server we are hosting.

It would be nice to those of us who do rent a server if we had more options in admin rights to our servers. I would like to be able to switch players on teams when necessary to even out talent...not just even out numbers....

Just an Idea...Would make playing more fair and fun...

Teamswitching could mean a lot of things that are bad for gameplay, and enjoying the game in general. Admins may move all the good players to his/her team and leave the rest on the other team
Admins may move someone in a vehicle to the other team and take the vehicle to use against the other team. (just an idea, of course you can just kick the person in the vehicle for the sakes of it.)
Admins may constantly teamswitch players to cause greif
Admins may constantly teamswitch players who are chatting in foreign languages (using teamchat) so that their messages dont reach because 1 player got switched to the other
Admins may switch sides to statspad

To teamswitch players, you have to use Unranked Mode, which is fine as is. Remember: The loosing team will soon™ become the winning team as the bad players begin to quit and the good players of the winning team feel that their talent is wasted: They are not getting much in the way of points for waiting for people to leave their base while none actually leave the base because they dont care anymore

i would think that if an admin would do that, it would cause that specific server to get a bad rep and less people would go to it. IMO, most admins wouldnt do that, of course you have that rogue admim that would but he would get reported anyway..........

Also, i3d don't give the option for unranked/private servers.

As it stands, there isn't a viable option for Play4Free server rentals in this part of the world.
