Good idea. The best ones should all get a job! That would be so awesome!

what about 100bf for top 10,000
18-10-2011, 10:32 AM
More like who is the biggest no-lifer contest.
You could've at least made it like, on monday from 12 am - 18 am who gets most kills.
but seriously spreading this out on a whole weekend, at least we will know who has no life.

The idea to make this from 12 am to 18 am is a good one for example on Saturday where everybody has got a fair chance to actually play unless he´s got to work on Saturdays. I´ll play as always. Definetely a contest for no lifers ... or maybe hackers.

Most people know that sitting in front of the computer for more than 45 min at a time . in not good for the body or the eyes..
With a contest like this you make players sit for hours and hours in front of the screen while thier eyes dry out and they go near sighted.. because they dont go for a small break .. when they normaly would.. because they hope to win what " ?? 1000 points " ..
Like it have been surgested earlyer .. a contest like this would be better for like a 3 hour peroid MAX..
The only thing that will happen is that people will get tired of the game from playing it too much..
After player Battlefield for like 2 or 3 hours in a row.. only a few player would want to continue after playing for 3 hours because the game start to get boring and your fingers start to hurt..
Who ever came up with the idea for this contest.. must either be desperate to get players to play the game or clearly didnt think about the consequence of how much damage a computer can actuly do to your body when you play for hours and hours and hours..
a contest like this only make EA look weak and desperate..
And not friendly or helpfull even thou they give away 100.000 points..

All you need to do is simply play the game, that automatically enlists you in the event

If, as you propose, only a few people will play the game for more than a few hours at a time, then there's plenty of positions left for the "normal" players to continue to compete to be in the top 100 players.
We expect that there will indeed be a few players that dedicate themselves to placing well in this event, and spend an enormous amount of time playing the game. That is one of the reasons that we decided to give away BF to 100 players, to allow those who spend an average amount of time playing BFP4F to be able to raise their game and be in with a chance of actually picking up some funds
. Players with crazy play times will likely peter out very early in the top 100. Regarding the health of some of those playing for longer periods. Obviously we would expect common sense to kick in in this scenario...and if they're too young to have any (
), that their parents regulate their time in front of the PC/TV regardless of any events we might be running. Silvanoshi

It's still unclear to me if only kill scores and cap scores count? What about scores you get for team support like healing teammates, giving ammo to teammates, reviving, etc? What about single shots of rpg or tank cannon against enemy vehicles? Those shots give a lot of score, but does it count for the xp race?

Solution: rent USAS, everytime choose Sharqi map - dont think, just run and push the trigger.
Result: you will get most kills and good XP score.
Final verdict: no teamplay, no skill and this is ridiculous
