this map needs Quad bikes

This map is simply awful. Wasted time for devs and players.

If sharqui starts I usually close game and open again trying avoid it - now I will be do the same with basra.

ADD QUAD BIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a lame map for snipers there arent many high places to snipe from

As i been telling u in each round US wins cos they can get to B faster.
And its still a freakin camp map.
And i was still able to gitch in tree row in middle of map (bad job on patching that).


Sometimes i wonder maybe ppl that now work on this game worked before for activision's COD.

U will ruin Battlefield with these kind of maps.

I played 2 rounds on it and so far I only have one thing to say: If you secure 2 flags and the enemy secures the other 2, good luck to both teams in getting a third one, it's THAT hard.

At least some mountin bikes so we can pretend we have armor.

Considerable changes have been made to Basra since its stint in the PTE. Those of you who provided feedback on the PTE forum contributed to this changes as well as improving the map as a whole. Great job to all of you!

If you haven't tried the map since the PTE, I would suggest that you play a number of rounds on it before passing judgement. The changes which were implemented have improved the balance of the map considerably. The new version of Basra hasn't been released for long enough yet to get a proper feeling for it. In my opinion, many of those that don't like Sharqi due to its CQC nature will enjoy Basra a a lot more . Give it a chance over the next few days before immediately saying you don't like it .

As for Quads, we have no intention of adding them to Basra.
For all of you vehicle fanatics out there, we are working another map which will once again allow you to take to the air and rain down death .

Whats the point in WASTING ability points on helicopters and jets when they are only applicable to one QUARTER of this games enjoyment?

Oh well, a bigger version of Sharqi......... woopee do!

Just gimme an OMAN only server and you can keep your "assault" maps.

The map makers have a cheek to name it after an IRAQI town also? Why?
Perhaps to remind us how many innocent people have died at the hands of western forces?

Really unimpressed............
