Have had time to get used to the new HUD. I still do not like the map position, should still be in upper right imho.
I like the Rank being shown next to the portrait, but not many people who play these games actually KNOW rank and insignia just by looking at them. Perhaps it should have the abbreviated title above it as well.
I have become used tot he smaller size of the minimap, but i still prefer it in the upper right corner. its a PITA to keep looking down. Points bar is small, gives eye strain to read how many points out of 1000 my team has, or the enemy has. I like the fact it now shows the bases that are controlled, instead of just chowing a blue or orange diamond.
Minimap, Team Points bar, Base Control icons need to be back in Upper Right corner.
People say the game sucks now because of hte HUD. The game still plays the same, its just as good as before, its just ANNOYING playing with the new HUD. thats all. game is still great..Its the placement of items in the HUD that sucks.

Im gettin tired with the constant lag which since last update is even worse..
Tired of seeing my clay hangin at the wall and most off all.. tired of the frikkin spotted function not working at critical moments..
I would gladly pay for an online game, as long as the game is to all of the players whishes..
But at this rate.. ur gonna loose a lot of "Classic" gamers.. but i guess thats what u want..
Cause those 12 year old's pay for anything..
BTW.. is the PTE fixed yet.. cause i still cant get in.. always the same frikkin error..
BTW.. is BFH fixed yet.. cause since about a year ago.. i get thrown out after just 2-4 minutes for having a bad connection apparently... is that going to happen to me with BFP4F too..
Im not giving a dime to online games anymore.. its always the same.. as soon as ive put in some money.. its changed to either BS like this or to the point where i cant even get a connection..

Seems like more and more game companies are following blizzard's business model: give people crap they don't ask for to distract them from the problems.

As for the claymores, they only attach to the wall if you are facing the wall. I have had no issues putting them perpendicular to the wall, or in corners. For doorways and passages, if you stand mid doorway, and angle a little bit it will not stick to the wall.
But sometimes I LIKE it sticking on the wall. Certain areas are great for that. I always love seeing Enemy Killed! +50, Headshot! +10 with a claymore.
the claymore HS has nothing to do with whether it's on a wall or not. I've had HS with claymores placed wide open on a street. although, everytime that happen I get fun images in my head on how that happened... like seriously, that mine is on the ground, what did he do? trip or something?
Love the HUD sharp and clear - do NOT like the map and kill feed locations. should be reversed (Map in top left corner).
or how about customizable huds? Put em where you want??

The only times i get headshots with a claymore are the ones i managed to stick on a wall in an alley in Sharqi, or if i stick it on a wall in Karkand.
So thats why i like my wall clinging claymores
heh, I usually don't place it on walls or on top of anything. just straight on the ground, preferably where it's not too obvious, and it still give HS' once in a while
are we straying offtopic or was that one of the fixes in the latest patch? if not then I'd personally like to see more raging on the HUD, because that was a huge misstake that keep making people quit playing.
Just as I thought, EAsy put the minimap on the lower left because BF3's minimap as seen in the E3 video is on the lower left... But still, I want it on the top right!

let's just hope they're too busy working on fixing the bugs, which they actually try. so far the only problem on that front seem to be that with every update some of the oler bugs come back or become worse =/ not sure why though, let's hope they figure it out.
... and let's hope they fix the HUD asap.
