I was hoping the kill cam was changed so it didn't show your position to the enemy when you killed them most of all...

why? i really prefer map and kill feed at the same old place, what is the point looking at a soldier face on the upper left corner? and i like the map at upper right corner so your left eye can spot danger and right eye look at the map! seriously. there is better things to change in this game, like the m24's ugly weird looking scope!

Judging from the outlaying of disapproval of the community for the new HUD I would think that the devs at this point would halt this foolish endeavor and get back to work on important things.... But that is a perfect world situation... The reality is they made the decision to stick it in already and made it and are telling us in the vain hope we will like it.... I can honestly say the new HUD is crap....
The kill message at the bottom? Come on guys as one person has said before the person who just shot you dead and what gun he has I believe is more important at the moment then say someone screaming for a medic or ammo. Unfortunately we will end up with this new HUD and we will have to conform to it since they will never change it back.....
I just have one question..... Will the developer who thought of this idea come to the forums so we can show him our opinion ourselves or maybe talk/yell at him about this? I think the person should stand behind their idea and if they aren;t willing to stand behind it the idea is worthless and should not be even worked on.
Give us back the old HUD! I don't play BC2 so it looks really weird. I'm sure I speak for a lot of players when I say that you shouldn't change it! The old one was better!!!! Having everything in a different spot is gonna confuse people and distract them from the battle! And moving the mini-map to the bottom left makes it harder to look at it and keep your eyes on the area around you at the same time. Please, get Basrah in here, not a new, very weird HUD.
So can we see other peoples custom uniforms now or is that still coming?

i liked the map where it was :/ but hp and amo is nice
I dont mind all the changes, but the mini-map placement is going to suck. HAving it in the upper right enabled me to keep it in my upper edge of vision, so i can still see whats going on down range. making it on the lower left toaly changes everything, because now you have to look DOWN and lose all sight of the field. This might seem silly to some people, but mini-maps tend to be placed in that upper right corner for this very reason. its not intuitive to constantly look down.
heheh hell yea. ive been playin bc2 vietnam lately. this new hud will be very familiar. when i switch back and forth sometimes the old map placement gets confusing
now lets get a level cap increase. let us go to 22 so we can have more fun while testing this new stuff. and could you guys make the next set of levels take longer? it feels like you can do level 20 in a few days. makes the xp boost worthless. i like the grind in bc2 where it takes several rounds to get a level even when you're low. its better this way, keeps peoples attention longer, and sells more xp boosts. anytime i made a new character i was like level 5-6 in the very first round. senseless ^^

and i agree with the guy that mentions that leveling is way too cheesy..make it harder!
my biggest question right now... is who screamed for a new HUD? was there a POLL?

4 - Minimap lower corner is bad. -covers action when your in close quarters combat.
-upper right corner is best, usually just sky up there.

I'll echo this sentiment. I would greatly prefer at least the option to keep the minimap in the upper right hand corner, if not an option to toggle on the "old UI".
I rely on that "big open space" on the bottom to help me spot claymores, grenades, who is shooting at me, etc.; covering it up with the minimap makes me sad.
