Open up the Folder you want, open server.zip and go to gamemodes/gpm_sa/32/GameLogicSettings.con

According to them its: ( win / loss )
  • Karkand: 60 / 20
  • Oman: 80 / 30
  • Dragon Valley: 80 / 30
  • Sharqi: 55 / 20
  • Basra: 60 / 20

So about a 35% Drop in Credits with this new Update.
Unless they extend the duration of rounds w/ a modified tick rate.

I don't know where to find the tick rate in the data, or what it would be called. It may be in "mods--> main--> Levels--> Strike at Karkand--> Init Logic:" currently, I'm looking at the value/line "gameLogic.setTicketLossPerMin 1 12" but the duplicate line underneath it with the "2/6" instead is throwing me off. (It also happens to be a shot in the dark, but I can't find a better possibility, though I'm not the most adept at finding things in the code, except for gun stats.)

I'm also not quite sure, but i think its located in the same file as the Credits as 'gameLogic.setTicketUpdateInterval'.

Its not present in all of the maps, but the default Interval is 1 according to 'Battlefield Play4Free\mods\main\python\game\gamemodes\gpm_sa.py' (Line 15).

Quote:g_defaultTicketUpdateInterval = 1

So:
  • Sharqi: 0.75
  • Karkand 1
  • Basra: 1
  • Oman: 1.5
  • Dragon Valley: 1.5

But as i said, not totally sure and we would need the pre-update Game Files to compare those values.

And i think Servers also have a modifier for the Tick Rate.

Thanks man.
Now I can spend wiser.
In fact, if you just play a few rounds on a vehicle map, you can earn enough for a full day of a basic weapon!!! Big Grin

Last line in first post Wink
If the round ends 1000-1000 you get credits for win and loss (80+30=110)
It would be real nice if they'd give some extra xp award for being best recon/assault, etc... Smile

I agree!!
Data is starting to get to meaningful amounts so heres something ive been doing.

( Oman: ACR = 55 Credits | ARL = 11m42s | RPH = 5.13 )

Using the P4F browser I note the number of rounds played on OG3, Oman only and note the time of the start of the round I count from. I then come back later, again note the number of rounds that has been played on the map, and again the time.

After collecting 121 rounds from several time periods, the average round length for a full server on Oman is 11m42s

Sooo, what can we do with this? Well a win on Oman gains you 80 credits and a loss is 30. That gives us an average income of 55 Credits per round, so with these two figures we can say things like this.

It takes on average just over 9 Oman rounds or 1h45m to buy a basic 500 credit gun
It takes on average nearly 46 Oman rounds or 9h to buy a 2500 credit booster
1 hour of Oman earns on average 282 credits.

I may do karkand next, feel free to repost the data.
