I won't be the granpa here.. but this forum is transforming into the hello kitty home and justin bieber fan page with all those fancy signatures. Is there a game of who runs the bigger one?
The only purpose of very big signatures is to increase the bandwidth usage, reduce the space available, confuses the thread.
It must be the average age (but i won't count on it...), ppl must learn they are not alone on the forum.
Yes i've disabled the signatures now.. but it means that i can't see the "legit" ones anymore (and with legit i mean a small one, or just text.. that i believe is enough).

You've disabled the signatures so problem solved! But is there anything wrong with using a JB signature? Yes absolutely..lol

I agree with OP, same settings as on BFH forum is stupid. 900x250 is too much.. and 500kB ?! Only few characters for links but so big space for mostly ugly signatures. Maximum should be eg 500x100 and 100kB. If you aren't graphic noobs, you can do nice signatures on smaller space.. actually much nicer than this big ***.
He kinda has a point, I used to have a wall of text (if you can call it that ..) Only 250 signs are allowed, thats like 2 lines :| compare that to big pictures and I'd like to be able to put up a whole wall of text (although I understand why it's not allowed

If it was up to me, signatures would be max 150pixels in height, and should only be game related.
Let it be said, I alone have probably edited out 50 signatures in these few weeks the forums have been open :-)

and most if not all the signature violators had like 800x600 signatures anyway >.>

Yeah, what I expected, of course that not everyone can understand it. As you can see in my sig.. bottom right corner.. it is kind of "protest" against big sigs. If devs/mods set rules as I said (or something like that) I will be "happy".

a 900 pixel width signature is ridiculous on my 800x600 monitor, I have to scroll across to read all the messages. I didn't know about disabling signatures in options but have done now thank you for bringing this to my attention original poster, and I agree full heartedly with your motion.
