Finally got my hands on it. Damn this scope just made medic's sweetest dream come true ( until EAsy adjusts the ADS on it ). 0,2 sec ADS = outgun anything in CQC.

It's totally worse than close-in barrel : less effective but more expensive. You can rank up your lvl1 soldier a few more levels and completely forget about barracuda barrel.

I tried it today with credits and don't find it hard to see on bright backgrounds. Is that only an issue on medium/low settings?

^ did you test it on high setting and walls at Karkand/Sharqi? The problems seem to exist with high graphic setting only.

No client update = no fixing anything. The ADS animation stays the same when you put on the sight, but the reaction time for SMGs ( the delay before you can shoot after pressing RMB ) is 4x slower now, from 0,05 to 0,2 sec.

Yeah, I already knew that. It just 'seemed' to be slightly less of a delay than it did before. It's hard to gauge these things when they're in tenths of a second.

Those screenshots were from high settings.

Karkand is mostly fine. There are those shiny hills near C where the dot disappears, but other than that, it's okay:
